Instant Rockstar refresh
2/26/2010 2:13:11 PM
Lifelounge is currently involved in the brand and packaging refresh of the Australian hair care brand Instant Rockstar... Quite an interesting gig for a bald man ; ) anyway...

The very first step was to create a new ID that represented the company's positioning as a fun and contemporary yet a sophisticated/professional hair brand. My logo response for this was to take on visual cues from both vintage rock vinyl and the flowing organic qualities of hair... Stay tuned – packaging to follow.

Vans and the places they were
2/3/2010 8:11:38 AM
Anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes with me knows that I'm an absolute sucker for vans. I came across a website this morning that features nothing more and nothing less than photos of sweet vans and information on where and when the photo was captured. The photos are fantastic too but I may be a little biased.

Go on and drool over at

The guys from Neue are now inviting budding designers out the there to submit designs for their second edition – Barcelona. Artwork must be submitted by February 23 and more details at the link below.
